This is a screenplay that takes an inside look at the maneuverings to get Michael Jordan to return to the game after his second retirement on January 13, 1999. The writer goes behind the scenes -- into restaurants, bedrooms and NBA conference rooms from coast to coast -- drawing from press reports and her own imagination to deconstruct the bigger-than-life world of professional basketball to fullfill the fantasy of Jordan's fans and have him return to the NBA.
